Created in 2009, Sugarbean Cake Co. (formerly Irresistible Cakes by Tanya) is renown in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region for beautifully crafted cakes and sweet treats, including a wide range of raw, vegan cakes and healthy-range baked goods.

Tanya’s passionate eye for detail and her desire to create stunning, quality cakes for engagements, weddings, birthdays, christenings, showers and corporate functions means that she only uses premium, local and organic ingredients.

Inspired by her Bavarian grandmother and the European influences of her upbringing, Tanya has completed courses and classes at Planet Cake, Sugar Rush, Baroque Patisserie, Whimsical Cakehouse and TAFE, and has created Cakes for local Fashion shows, Cancer Fundraiser Balls, and Restaurant businesses.

With an interest in making more buttercream cakes with fresh flowers, Tanya is interested in improving her expertise in floristry in order to further enhance her stylish, stunning creations.
